Here is my Top 10 List of Composition “Don’ts”. It’s not a strict list but the talent and circumstances need to be exceptional for me to veer from these rules:

• No Out-of-Focus
• No Censorship
• No Covered: Face, Mouth, Chin or Half-Face
• No Cropped Hands, Feet, Foreheads or Heads
• No Staring Into Space
• No Train Tracks
• No Upside-Down or Unbalanced Poses
• No Selfies
• No Snow, Cold, or Freezing
• Selective Dirt, Sand, Paint or Rocks
