PHOTOSHOOT PREPARATION

Here are my suggestions for our pre-photoshoot logistics and what to bring with you. I leave the final decision entirely in your hands. You’ll know best which clothes and makeup will make you feel most comfortable. 💘

ELEGANT • SENSUAL • ALLURING

My goal in every photoshoot is to capture your innocence, strength, and sensuality. Your most important feature is your eyes – they reveal your deep feelings. Magic begins when you trust me as your photographer. Here are some quick suggestions:

• Please prepare your hair, makeup and nails in advance so that we have our time dedicated to capturing great photos. Only free-flowing hair, please (not tied up or in a bun). If you’re debating over wavy or straight hair, then I prefer straight (but it’s not important).
• Natural make-up is preferred. Your nails (fingers and toes) should be done for close-up shots.
• Please bring at least three additional wardrobe changes so that we can get a variety of images (i.e., the more the better!). Body-hugging clothes are ideal to showcase your figure (i.e., don’t bring bulky clothes that will hide your figure). More wardrobe suggestions are below.
• And finally… Bring your wild side… If you’re adventurous.

If you’re stuck with what to wear then please let me know and we’ll figure it out together.

ATELIER ● ART NUDE

Wardrobe Suggestions:

  • Clothes: Bring clothes that make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Body-hugging summer dresses, skirts, crop tops, half-shirts, tube tops, beach wraps, blouses, and tight t-shirts also work. Leather jackets, ripped jeans, ripped shorts, and unique designer clothes are also welcome.
  • Underwear:  Bring your best bras, lingerie, and tango underwear from your wardrobe. See-through night gowns are great.
  • Footwear:  Different types of leather boots, pumps/high heels, and stilettos are cool (i.e., but not wide heels, please). In any case, I prefer barefoot for art nude sessions.

Important: Please shave your armpits and trim your private parts before our photoshoot. Many hours of editing are added in post-production to get rid of stubble.

Important: Please don’t arrive to the studio wearing tight underwear. The imprint on the skin takes up to an hour to disappear. Many hours of editing are added in post-production to get rid of underwear imprints.

I want to ensure that my models feel relaxed and comfortable throughout our session. My goal to establishing mutual trust at the beginning of our photoshoot is the best way to create fantastic photos!

INSIDE ● STUDIO

Wardrobe Suggestions:

  • Clothes:  Body-hugging summer dresses and skirts are ideal. Crop tops, half-shirts, tube tops, beach wraps, blouses, and tight t-shirts also work. Leather jackets with ripped jeans or ripped shorts are great for youthful themes. Unique designer clothes are also welcome.
  • Footwear:  Different types of leather boots, pumps/high heels, and stilettos are cool (but not wide heels).

During the autumn and winter seasons, sessions are almost exclusively at my studio or on location in a public venue (with the approval of the presiding management). Sessions are typically 3-hours and scheduled in the afternoon so that we can take advantage of natural lighting. Morning sessions are also fine if this works better for the model.

OUTSIDE ● PUBLIC

Wardrobe Suggestions:

  • Clothes: Body-hugging summer dresses and skirts are ideal. Crop tops, half-shirts, tube tops, beach wraps, blouses, and tight t-shirts also work. Leather jackets with ripped jeans or ripped shorts are great for youthful themes. Unique designer clothes are also welcome.
  • Footwear: Different types of leather boots, pumps/high heels, and stilettos are cool (but not wide heels).

It’s also good to bring some water for hydration and maybe a few protein bars for energy.

In the spring, summer, and early autumn, photoshoots are typically in public gardens, parks, and other scenic areas. Sessions are ideally scheduled three hours before sunset. This way we’ll catch the golden hour and get the best dispersed lighting and shadows. For example, if sunset is at 18:00, then we would meet around 15:00 and shoot until the sun goes down. My studio is also available as a last-minute alternative if Mother Nature isn’t being nice that day.

TOP 10 ● DON’T WEAR LIST

With all due respect, and apologies in advance if anything on this list conflicts with your personal style – please don’t bring the following items. It’s just my personal preference. 😎 This is not a strict list, but the talent and circumstances need to be exceptional to veer from these rules:

  • No Lime Green or Purple Clothes
  • No Plaid, Tiger, or Leopard Patterns
  • No Socks, Pantyhose, Fishnets or Suspenders
  • No Vintage Lingerie or Wide Hip Underwear
  • No Hats or Masks

  • No Plastic or Glossy Clothes
  • No Sweaters, Bulky or Baggy Clothes
  • No Winter Coats or Fur Coats
  • No Logos, Advertising, or Promotional clothes
  • Most Importantly… No Visible Bra lines or Panty Lines
