PHOTOSHOOT PREPARATION
Welcome to my suggestions for pre-photoshoot logistics. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so your preparation choices are entirely up to you. 💘
ELEGANT • SENSUAL • ALLURING
My goal is to capture your strength, sensuality, and innocence. Truth is revealed in your eyes, and magic begins when trust is established:
- Please prepare your hair, makeup, and nails in advance so we can focus on capturing great photos.
- Arrive with your hair flowing freely (i.e., not tied up or in a bun). If you’re debating over wavy or straight hair, then straight is preferred. Professionally braided hair is also great.
- Makeup should be natural. Fingernails and toenails should also be prepared for close-ups.
- Please bring three to eight wardrobe changes so that we can get a variety of images (i.e., the more the better!). Body-hugging clothes are ideal for showcasing your figure (i.e., avoid bulky clothes that hide it). I try to capture at least 10% of the photos for social media-friendly posts.
- Important • Please shave your armpits and trim your private parts. Removing stubble in post-production adds a lot of time to the editing process. Please also try to avoid wearing tight underwear, as it can take up to an hour for the imprints to fade from the skin (i.e., more touch-up hours for me).
- If you’re stuck on what to wear, let me know, and we’ll figure it out together. I’m happy to arrange a video call to discuss wardrobe ideas, or you can send photos if that works better for you.
ATELIER ● ART NUDE
INSIDE ● STUDIO
OUTSIDE ● PUBLIC
Wardrobe Suggestions:
• Clothes • Bring a selection that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Body-hugging summer dresses, skirts, crop tops, half-shirts, tube tops, beach wraps, blouses, and tight t-shirts also work. Leather jackets, ripped jeans or shorts, and unique designer clothes are also welcome.
• Underwear • Bring your best bras, lingerie, and tango underwear from your wardrobe. See-through clothes are great.
• Footwear • Different types of leather boots, high heels, and stilettos are good (i.e., but not wide heels, please). In any case, I prefer to be barefoot for nude sessions.
My goal is to establish mutual trust at the beginning of our photoshoot, as this is the best way to create fantastic photos! I want to ensure that you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout our session.
During the autumn and winter seasons, sessions are usually held at my studio or at a public venue (with the approval of the presiding management). Sessions are typically 3 hours long and scheduled in the afternoon to take advantage of natural lighting.
In the spring, summer, and early autumn, photoshoots are typically in public gardens, parks, and other scenic areas. Sessions begin three hours before sunset. This way, we’ll catch golden hour and get the best dispersed lighting and shadows. For example, if sunset is at 18:00, then we would begin shooting at 15:00. If Mother Nature has other plans for our session, then we’ll move indoors.
Please bring some water for hydration and maybe a few protein bars for energy.
