Freedom of Movement – Freedom of Thought – The Right to Life. Three fundamental human rights established by the United Nations back in 1948. Ratified articles of all Human Rights can be found here, by country. You may be surprised to find regions of the world that adamantly claim human rights but don’t actually adhere to them completely.
Unfortunately, many societies follow a propaganda narrative, never to learn the truth. Only when this reality is publicly challenged does the “truth” have a chance. In some regions of the world, citizens are born, raised, and die in a cage – oblivious to the walls that incarcerate them.
We associate slavery with bondage and trafficking. But I want to focus on the less obvious institutional slavery of our current reality. I prefer to dissect the role of master and slave in governments, institutions, technologically, and even in relationships. Are we being manipulated to follow a specific narrative? Do institutions own us through financial or political means? Are we puppets to corporate masters? Does social media brainwash us into an “Us vs. Them” agenda? Are we subjugated in our relationships, and don’t even know it?
We’re all slaves in some regard. Even the masters are slaves in the end.
All I’m advocating is to understand the nature of our reality. Friedrich Nietzsche opened our eyes to the slave mentality. At the same time, he also revealed that even if we learn our true nature – in the end, we’re still sheep. Waking up to learning that we’re slaves doesn’t mean we’ve escaped our reality.
I’m not advocating anarchy. I only ask for some soul-searching. “Do I accept my fate for better or worse?” Maybe it’s better to perish in freedom than exist in a prison.
Dusil Photography captures exquisite moments with models who dare to be vulnerable and enter the world of sensuality. I’ve been blessed with the freedom to explore their deepest emotions. Whether it’s alluring curves or a seductive gaze, each photograph tells her story. My portfolio reflects a seamless fusion of feminine beauty and compassion.
